How many of you have heard a story along the lines of “I waited an hour after eating an edible and nothing happened so I had a second one and that’s when it hit me like a train.” Many people shy away from edibles after 1 bad experience 🙃

Edibles can be used as a powerful wellness tool when consumed in proper doses. You wouldn’t take 10 Advil in one sitting so don’t consume the equivalent in edibles. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I get asked a lot about how much 🌿 to put in a batch of brownies. There are a TON of factors that go into estimating dosage size that make it nearly impossible to calculate accurately. During the cooking process an estimated 40-60% of cannabinoids will be lost. The strain, cooking time, temperature, methods, tools, etc, all have an impact on final potency. Keep in mind our Potency Booster will result in a stronger outcome than using regular butter.

My #1 piece of advice for our customers when it comes to dosing is to start SMALL. There is no magic number that works for everyone. What works for you, may not have an effect on someone else. As a general rule of thumb, we typically recommend starting with a dose size of 5 mg or less. Our packaging recommends using 2-3 grams for each Brownie Kit. From there, we recommend eating 1/18th of the batch and working your way up until you find what works best for you.
