After 3 years of full time private practice, I am starting a job as a Counseling Supervisor at Lifeworks!
If you know me, you know I’m passionate about being a part of organizations who are are dedicated to ending homelessness and I am so stoked to be bringing my clinical skills to the table.

Today is my 5 year anniversary of being fully licensed and the day I could finally apply to upgrade to LPC-S! I finished my training months ago but have been anxiously waiting for this moment.
Before becoming a therapist full time, I spent many years in non-profit management and loved every minute of mentoring and developing fellow helpers. Becoming a supervisor wasn’t always on the list of where I saw my career going, but then again neither was private practice. However, the last few years have placed me in a new direction and I cannot wait to embrace this path as a teacher and support.
Areas of specialty:

✨ Non-profit work (specifically with our unhoused neighbors)
✨ Young Adults and life transitions
✨ Trauma and EMDR
✨and more!
Once my upgrade goes thru and I finalize paperwork I will be opening up my supervision spots!

To all my clients, colleagues, and friends- thank you! ✨
I am grateful for a community that has supported me thru various health scares and growing my business. I am grateful for the wonderful clients I have who somehow teach me things daily. I am grateful for the cooler weather and all the pie I will get to eat this weekend. And I am grateful for all the trainings I have gotten to do this year that have me feeling reenergized!
Whether you are spending time with family or not, I hope that your holiday is filled with lots of love and rest. You deserve it! 💚

When you are struggling with a difficult emotion, take a moment to be curious. “What is my body trying to tell me right now?” The more we can be open and non-judgmental towards what is happening, the easier it can be to tune in and ride the wave. 🌊

I have lived in Austin for almost 11 years and yesterday was the first time I had been to Barton Springs. Needless to say, I loved it and plan on spending so many summer days there. Being around water and soaking in the sun is one of my favorite ways to take care of myself and manage my anxiety.
