Especially as a man, we’re told to love like Christ loved the church. And he willingly suffered undeservingly, unconditionally served, and went to the cross for his bride. He also held firm against sin - holding the container if you will- by not tolerating sin, but overcoming it with radical love.

There’s a peace that only comes with trust. There’s a trust that only comes from the love of God. That peace is beyond comfort. It’s beyond relief. Unlike comfort or relief it does not rely on external circumstances but is defined by internal union with God.

True unconditional love demands that we change - ironically - because it invites us into a higher understanding. A higher mind. We have to open and change in order to actually receive and perceive it.
