East Austin's only Medical & Wellness Clinic offering Primary Care & Other Holistic Services in one! Karisha comes from my parents - Karim and Asha Haji.

After life changing events in our family -- the loss of my dear sister Priya Haji, the gain of her two angels Zen (2) and Omi (1), and the loss of my dear cousin brother Nasiru -- I decided to depart from my urgent care position with Baylor Scott & White and pursue my professional dream. I plan to create Karisha, an integrative food, medicine and healing space, for all. Karisha represents a new culture of health care, delivered in a nurturing space where patients love to get care and where providers love to work. In time it will serve as a vehicle to transform health care in Central Texas and the US. (Kari + sha) They taught me the art, humanity, and service of medicine. I had the privilege of watching them create an amazing economically and ethnically diverse medical practice in Bryan with a free medical clinic that continues to be my inspiration for what I want to do today. I wish to take their work to the next level. Karisha Community bridges food, medicine and health by bringing medical providers, healthy food, and healing practitioners under one roof in a community space. Karisha Community will house a teaching kitchen, yoga-physical therapy-dance studio, and a networking space with tea, snacks, and great wi fi. It will be co-located with an integrative health and medicine clinic, Karisha Health, that will provide acute, chronic and walk-in medical care to the community.
