Curiously Concocted Letterpress + Design 42 Pressed is a letterpress and design studio founded in 2009 by Jackie Hall Robinson and her husband Tyler.

Specializing in sustainable, unique paper goods that fit the style of the edgy minimalist correspondent. Each pattern, paint stroke and signature style, which has been dubbed - curiously concocted letterpress - is painted, drawn out, and sketched by hand to create our new ready made ooak (one of a kind) stationery collection. Taking the utmost care in creating a top quality product, each piece is printed in house on one of our three antique letterpresses and neatly packaged and shipped directly from our farm studio located right outside of Charleston, South Carolina. We are thrilled with this new line and how it is evolving into something that truly makes our stationery hearts sing. We wanted to fill a void of an already over saturated stationery market that is much of the same with something that is a bit more edgy and modern; a true breath of fresh air. We hope we have done just that, and you love what you see, we’re just getting started!

I made this simple stationery for a few of my dear friends for a craft get together and forgot to share with you all here. Firm believer lately in it’s the little things that seem to matter the most and have come to the conclusion that simple stationery is the key to my heart and rules the world.

As I complete another year around the sun, I’ve been feeling this so hard lately. I find joy in the people I love, the work I do (lots of branding to share over soon) the land we live on and my overall desire to be outside in nature. For me it’s putting my phone down (sometimes for days on the weekends, friends can attest) and connecting deeply to what brings me the most joy. Tao into it 🤍💫

A little bit of life lately… slowly settling into 2026 and letting it move through me while I find my footing. Some sweet moments of work, friends, family and moments that made my heart sing this past month:
On the dock celebrating one of my faves bday and River jumping into the freezing bohicket A visit to the for a project in the works one of which I’ll share more soon. In awe of the work they do all by hand and how we all need more of this in our lives. A peek of some new work set to debut next week. This drive down to the farm - one I want to sear in my brain and remember always Annual Christmas tree cut down at the farm That beautiful not so perfect tree and River flipping out Christmas morning (does it ever get old) Craft night with friends Process of some that new work on the press Annual Boxing Day s***t shooting contest at the farm with my sister beating ALL THE BOYS and just so forever proud of her. Couldn’t help but think that my dad was looking down beaming!! Ink plays such a huge part in our work… we hand mix all of our own soy based inks according to the Pantone book so we can make any color under the sun - which can be such a rewarding experience or an incredibly frustrating experience. People always ask why letterpress is on the pricier side - well this is just one of many reasons. A slow and methodical process of mixing your own ink and then seeing the magic unfold on the press never gets old. Enjoy a little love story for ink and how we use it within our process.

A little bit of life lately… Also if you’re local to Charleston - We’re excited to be popping up at one of our favorite events THIS Saturday to celebrate another bday for our pals over we’ll be bringing all our city prints, some candles as well as some surprise limited edition flags and a few limited edition abstract prints. All letterpressed and one of a kind. A little peek of what’s to come. Hope to see so many of your faces and a HUGE reminder this season to shop small. It MATTERS a lottt and is so just so incredibly important. A few friends who will also be there on the top of my head and and so many more!

Last minute whirlwind trip to Austin City Limits. We came. We partied too much. Stayed out way too late. Witnessed Hozier in all his insane amazingness. Got thrown up in the air by a bunch of well-intentioned humans freeing us from sin. Got our wallets and phones stolen right out of our purses while attached to our persons. Managed to get on flights home sans ID’s. Managed to evade a police report. I would say all in all it was a win haha 🎈💫🤍

Did a little shoot with our friends from at my home / studio wearing some of their beautiful pieces. They asked me questions, we sat on the back porch for a few hours chatting, Oolong ran all around us and had to be in every photo, we laughed, had all the awkward moments that come with shooting oneself.
