Thank you to everyone who braved the frigid air (and lake) temperatures and took the plunge in support of cancer research at The Hormel Institute this weekend!

We continue to be overwhelmed by the support of this community. Like someone taking a dip in East Side Lake in January - you take our breath away!

507 HYDRO, LLC and NJOS PROPERTY SERVICES LLC are teaming up to support the incredible work of the Hormel Institute in Austin, Minnesota.

100% of the proceeds from this auction will go directly to their world-class cancer research! We are auctioning off two high-value gift certificates. Whether you need a lush new lawn or professional property maintenance, now is the time to bid and give back to our community.

* 507 HYDRO, LLC: A $500 Gift Certificate toward any of our services including our new pool filling service!
* Starting Bid: $200
* Buy It Now Price: $750

* NJOS PROPERTY SERVICES LLC: A $300 Gift Certificate toward professional property services!
* Starting Bid: $120
* Buy It Now Price: $450

🔨 How to Bid:

* Place your bid in the comments section of THIS original post.

* Clearly state which certificate you are bidding on (e.g., "$350 for 507 Hydro").

* Buy It Now: To bypass the auction and secure an item immediately, comment "BUY IT NOW" followed by the specific item name (e.g., "BUY IT NOW 507 Hydro").

Note: There is a reserve amount for these items; if the reserve is not met, the item will not be sold.

📅 Auction Terms:

* Start Time: The auction starts at 12:00 PM (Noon) on January 31st, 2026.

* End Time: The auction ends at 12:00 PM (Noon) on February 7th, 2026.

* No Edited Bids: To ensure transparency and fairness, edited comments will be disregarded and will not be counted as a valid bid. If you make a mistake, please post a brand-new comment with your corrected bid.

* Service Area: Gift certificates are valid for use only within a 1-hour distance of Austin, MN, and must be used within the State of Minnesota.

* Buy It Now Availability: The "Buy It Now" option is only available until the first bid is placed for that specific item. Once a bid is placed, the "Buy It Now" option is no longer valid.

* Bid Increments: Minimum bid increments are $25.

* Winner Announcement: Winners will be announced on this page and original post at 2:00 PM on February 7th, 2026.

* Payment: Payment must be made via Cash or Cashier's Check made out to either 507 HYDRO, LLC OR NJOS PROPERTY SERVICES LLC.

It's time for Paint the Packers Pink!

Paint the Packers Pink is a districtwide event dedicated to raising awareness and money for breast cancer research. Last year we raised almost $13,000 and this year we want to raise even more with a goal of $15,000 - but we need everyone’s help to make it happen.

The countdown to Paint The Town Pink 2026 is underway, and some important dates have been finalized for fundraising efforts that support cancer research at The Hormel Institute.

Plunging for Pink - Austin, MN will take place Jan. 31 at East Side Lake, while the third Austin Bruins Hockey Black and Gold Gala is slated for Feb. 5.
