The LOVE Bracelet began in 2012, when Co-Founders Zane Wilemon and Jeremiah Kuria came together with a shared mission: create meaningful, lasting impact for women in Kenya.
It started with Zane - our Co-Founder & CEO - spending a week living alongside a Maasai community. The experience was eye-opening, but more importantly, it sparked relationships that have continued to grow over the years. Those friendships expanded into deeper community partnerships and helped lead to long-term initiatives- including support for local schools, churches, and annual medical clinics.
As Ubuntu grew, bringing Maasai beadwork into our
collection was a natural next step-built on trust,
collaboration, and over a decade of connection. Today, the LOVE Bracelet remains one of our bestsellers: handmade with heart, created in community, and worn as a reminder that love is a movement-shared far beyond Kenya, around the world.
