Lesson Learned: STOP taking life so seriously.

👉🏼 The people who enjoy their life the most are the people who make enjoying their life a priority

The past year living in Austin (exactly 1 year this last week), and I’ve never felt more aligned in my life. We’ve got an incredible soul fam who I can’t imagine my life without.

Each day, I feel like I’m getting younger, yet learning & growing so much. I’ve never experienced anything like this in 33 years. I’ve never felt so young in my life.

I mean gosh, last night I wore an afro wig, a pink paisley shirt, and drank out of a hersheys syrup bottle for an epic celebration we hosted for my soul sister, —a Wig and “Anything but cups” party.

Spending years trying to PERFORM, SUCCEED, and WIN, one thing my tribe here has taught me is that none of these things matter if you aren’t taking the time to just LIVE, EXIST, and BE in the present.

That’s where everything happens anyway—the experiences, love, the laughs. They only happen in the present moment.

So, that’s what I’m doing. I’m taking the pressure off myself to be somewhere and to live up to expectations of people around me who probably aren’t even 100% happy with their own lives.

Instead, you can catch me redefining “normal” for myself, to enjoy life to the fullest each day as my 100% authentic & highest self (the weird and all), and to create a container for my people where it’s safe for them to do the same. Because that’s what we all need. And that’s my f**king jam. ❤️

👇🏼👇🏼 I’ll leave you with these 4 things I wish I knew sooner…

2️⃣ You have the power to create whatever life you want for yourself…anything

3️⃣ The catch is, YOU have to create it. Stop waiting for life to happen to you…make it happen yourself

The Empowerment Collective is growing quickly on our , & we're ready to bring on our DREAM ASSISTANT COACH!

We're a connection-based nutrition & lifestyle coaching program, helping women break free from restrictive dieting, so they can lose weight sustainably, living a lifestyle they enjoy. Most of our clients are ages 35-45, and we specialize in helping them make nutrition for weight loss simple and effortless, so we can turn inward & help them become the best version of themselves from the inside out.

OUR DREAM CANDIDATE MEETS THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

-PASSIONATE ABOUT EMPOWERING WOMEN to uncover & embody their true identity to make their dream life a reality
-Passionate about coaching for the IMPACT, more than it being "just a job" or a source of income
-Someone who is embodied & "practices what they preach"
-2+ years experience coaching women 35-45 yrs old through weight loss & body comp transformations (nutrition & strength training)
-Experience reverse dieting women & working with complex cases, like thyroid & hormone issues, gut health & digestion issues
-Certifications: Nutrition Coaching, Certified Personal Trainer, & Mindset
-Consistent social media presence, posting valuable, relevant content multiple times/wk
-Able to dedicate a minimum of 22 hours per week to coaching (opportunity to go full-time)

==> BONUS CONSIDERATION for: Advanced Certifications, Registered Dietitian, Experience taking sales calls

Unpopular Opinion: This could actually be a good thing 😉

It's really not as big of a deal as you may think!

Days like this happen, and it's all part of the process! 🚀

Very rarely is it one slip-up that causes us to fail...it's what we do after that one slip-up (whether we get back on track or let that be the beginning of a several week long rut).

So, you went out for dinner and ate more than you should...

Or, maybe you ate the cake at work and feel guilty now...

==> Isn't this the kind of freedom you'd like to have long-term, being able to eat a piece of cake at work? Being able to have dinner out guilt-free?

🚨 HERE'S HOW GETTING OFF TRACK CAN BE A GOOD THING:

See this as an opportunity to practice living like you would long-term...work in days like that and just get back on track. It's not as bad as you're making yourself think 😉

🌈 Silver lining: It's practice for the rest of your life!
