HYROX!
Yesterday I competed in my first Hyrox here in Dallas, and it was ELECTRIC!
I wanted a new sport- something exciting, something I had to train for, something challenging, something I could continue to get better, faster, stronger at, and something I can do for years to come.
I have done bodybuilding, running events, and triathlons over the last 15 years and I have discovered a few things about myself: 1. I love the prep of any event 2. I do not like to be hungry/hangry 3. I prefer to compete in something that is undeniable (my time is my time) 4. I like anything I can do in under 2.5 hours (with 3 boys I don’t have time for 3-4 hour workouts)
Hyrox is a high intensity strength and conditioning event and hit every mark! What does the race consist of?

100 Wall Balls with 4kg or 10lb Medicine Ball
This was challenging, fun, and I cannot wait to go again!
