Howdy!

As many of you are aware, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has recently adopted new regulations that significantly impact the h**p industry, effective March 31, 2026.

These new rules include a shift in how THC is calculated and a massive increase in licensing fees. I want to be clear with you: I am fully committed to operating a 100% legal business.

What This Means for You
To ensure we remain in full compliance with the law, if these rules go into effect as scheduled:

Product Changes - We will be temporarily removing certain products, including all effected h**p flower and high-potency concentrates, from our menu by the end of the day on March 30th.

Service Pause - There may be a short pause in our local delivery services as we transition our inventory and update our systems to meet the new state requirements.

Why We’re Fighting
I am personally a member of the Texas H**p Business Council, and we are working tirelessly with legal teams and other local business owners to challenge these rules in court. We believe these changes overstep the state’s authority and unfairly punish the small businesses and customers who rely on these products for their health and well-being. There is currently a suit filed by Baytown V**e in East Texas seeking an injunction or pause on these current rules. As soon as I know more, I will update the site!

What’s Next for The GrassHopper
We aren't going anywhere. While some products may be off the table for now, we are accelerating our new service offerings to continue supporting our community:

Grow Tent Installs: We will be officially launching professional grow tent installation services to help you manage your own botanical projects at home.

New Compliant Lines: We are sourcing high-quality, fully compliant wellness products that meet the 2026 standards without sacrificing the quality you expect from us. We will continue supplying you with as many Texas-based products as possible. Expect to see some new, really cool stuff coming up soon!
