I was watching TV and then all of a sudden this image popped up 😂my devices like to sync —- this is at Ananda Ashram in Monroe, NY where I would often get asked “what do you wear there?”
Mumus and tutus and elephant heads were some of my answers — the other one was - “you wear what you usually wear to an ashram outside of Manhattan or what you were wearing when you get out of the train, car, bus that you took from wherever you came from…”
I know that it’s because lots of ashrams have dress codes. It’s a nice idea in theory to have folks wear the same attire anywhere but difficult in practice.
