This is the sternocleidomastoid (SCM). One of my favorite muscles.
It flexes the neck, and rotates the head to the opposite side.
It has two muscle bellies...
It originates at the medial half of the clavicle, and the manubrium, and inserts at the mastoid process of the temporal bone...
You can find yours by laying down, and lifting your head an inch or two, and it will pop out ..
