Hi friends, family and loyal customers. It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to inform you that SOS FIRST AID TRAINING is no longer trading.
I have loved doing this from the beginning and count myself so fortunate to have been honoured enough to teach first aid. It has been my passion to enable people to feel confident in the skill set.
Thank you each and every one of you for making my life a joy in the classroom ❤️
I am going to miss it so very very much.

I also teach Moving and Handl8ng of People and Inanimate Objects.
Oooer bet you never knew that before ....

This morning I had good fun with a team of ladies ive taught before, except this time we did moving and handling of inanimate objects. I was taught never to say anything you teach is boring.....but so many moving and handling courses are just that! But miracle upon miracle we laughed a lot and learned a lot. Thsnk you ladies of Doonfoot after school and breakfast club, you are great and you put up with me, but we always have fun!!!! As well as learn, thank you. Mary 😁...

Just wanted to check in and say hi to those of you that know me and the training I do. Last Sunday we had a super group of 2. I say super because Lisa and Ian were great. Lots of interest, questions and a lot of fun. One thing that no one can say about my courses is that they are.boring. I love to teach and share and enable people to feel confident to do what they might have to in their role as a first aider.
Thanks to all of you out there who have trained with me out there. Still around and going strong, but couldn't be without you guys, thank you. Mary 😁...

This Sunday, SOS is doing a SYFA course, part on line and part face to face. Its the first time I've done it this way, looking forward to hear what the coaches think of it at Caledonian Youth Club.

There were three of the loveliest girls on the baby and child course. They came because they are mums. More power to you ladies. A great day, lots of fun,chat and learning.

Ayrshire Cancer Support are a local charity who provide practical help and emotional support to people and their families affected by cancer. The charity recently purchased the former St Andrews Hotel on Prestwick Road, Ayr which, if they can reach their target fundraising amount of £400,000 will be transformed into a bright and spacious place for children, young people and adults to access practical and emotional support when a cancer diagnosis affects their lives.



I have recently been appointed as a ‘ Corporate Make It Happen Ambassador’ for the charity, and will be performing a range of duties from undertaking talks in the local community to helping raise funds to reach the target. The charity are holding their annual fundraising ‘ Vegas Baby Ball’ at Ayr Racecourse on Saturday 23rd October and tickets are now on sale. I am reaching out to all local businesses, friends and family for donations and prizes that will be raffled on the night.

To turn our vision into reality and to undertake the necessary extensive building works, we urgently need to raise funds from the Ayrshire Community. There are lots of ways to help, from hosting an event, collecting funds through your business, or by kindly donating to our Make It Happen appeal.
