Opening in August, 2022, Gallup Community Health is a community-based clinic providing primary care for all ages, reproductive health and urologic care. Excellent care. Available to all. This is the guiding principle behind Gallup Community Health (GCH). Created by local physicians and healthcare workers concerned about the lack of primary care access in Gallup and McKinley County, the New Mexico county with the largest primary care provider deficit according to the US Health Resources and Services Administration. Mission: Gallup Community Health’s mission is to provide excellent and accessible medical care to our community, regardless of ability to pay. Vision: We envision a community where each member achieves their optimal potential wellness.

Would you please consider a year-end donation to Gallup Community Health?

GCH works hard to ensure that all community members have access to high-quality primary care, regardless of ability to pay. This year, we brought on several new primary care providers, OB/GYN, and behavioral health providers. We've expanded our Community Health Worker services, to better link patients with community resources and better coordinate care. We now offer radiology services and dental services will start in mid January. With community partners, we've helped to open a warming center, providing emergency shelter in the coldest months. We will also open our first satellite clinic, Campus Clinic, located at the UNM-Gallup campus in January.

Gallup Community Health has been awarded a $1.75 million, five-year grant through the Merck Foundation Cardiovascular Equity Initiative aimed at enhancing access to high quality health care for people living with heart conditions.
This funding will allow Gallup Community Health to expand care coordination, strengthen our Community Health Worker program, improve access to cardiovascular care, and partner with local organizations to support healthier lifestyles in Gallup and McKinley County.
We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited about what this means for our patients and families.
