Motherhood changes you.
But it shouldn’t leave you feeling like a stranger to yourself.

Whether you’re pregnant, newly postpartum, breastfeeding, or years into motherhood—so many women share a familiar story:

They feel depleted, foggy, anxious, or overwhelmed...
and unsure how to feel good in this new version of themselves.

That’s exactly what the Well Mama Nutrition Program is here for.

This isn’t about “bouncing back.”
It’s about uncovering what your body is really asking for—and building a personalized plan that supports your healing from the inside out.

✨ One mama recently shared:
“My recovery has been smoother.
My mental health is also so much better,
even my therapist noticed the difference.”

That kind of transformation didn’t come from hustling or pushing through.
It came from support.
From nourishing her body and nervous system.
From learning what was missing—and gently rebuilding from there.

In the Well Mama Program, we focus on:
🧠 Mental wellness + mood support
💤 Fatigue, blood sugar, and energy regulation
🌿 Thyroid, gut health, and metabolism
🩺 Functional lab testing + personalized protocols
🍽 Routines and rhythms that work in real life

This is care that honors your story, your symptoms, and your capacity.

✨ There are only 8 weeks left in the year.
If you want to enter 2026 feeling more grounded, more energized, and more you—the time to start is now.

📩 Comment or DM me WELL MAMA for the full program details and to apply.

Spots are limited and applications are reviewed within 1–2 business days.

You weren’t meant to do this alone.
Let’s help you feel nourished again.

✨ Meal planning can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to be. These are the exact steps I follow each week to make meal planning for my family easier, more affordable, and way less stressful.

From taking inventory of what we already have, to planning around busy nights, to rotating in family favorites and freezing extras — these simple rhythms help me keep our meals nourishing and doable week after week.

💡 And remember: meal planning doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. It’s about giving yourself more ease and keeping your family fed with love. 💕

Today we stand at a point of balance - equal day and night - before the light slowly gives way to longer evenings.

Autumn is nature’s invitation to slow down, gather what nourishes, and prepare gently for the season ahead.

For mothers in pregnancy or postpartum, this rhythm mirrors our own cycles of transition. Just as the Earth rests after harvest, your body and spirit need restoration as you nurture new life.

This season, I invite you to:
🌙 Protect your rest - lean into earlier bedtimes and cozy evening rituals
🥣 Nourish with warming, grounding meals and seasonal produce
🌾 Create simple, grounding rhythms that ease the rush of busy holidays

Eating seasonally is one of the most beautiful ways to align with nature. Foods harvested in their natural time are richer in nutrients, easier to digest, and remind us that our bodies are meant to live in rhythm with the Earth.

May this Autumn teach you to gather what sustains, release what burdens, and trust that slowing down is a sacred form of growth. 🍁

About Me

Hi there! My name is Kayla Thorngate and I am the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant behind Nourished Mothers. I am deeply invested in the field of women’s health and nutrition, especially as it pertains to aspects of motherhood.

My practice is built on the foundation that the health of a woman when she becomes a mother (beginning at the time of conception) can have a lifelong impact on her child’s health. I firmly believe that good health begins with how we are cared for in the womb, and good nutrition from the very beginning helps set a new life in the right direction. For that reason, I love working with women during this incredible season of life, on their journey to and through motherhood, teaching them how to nourish their own bodies and those of their families. I specialize in maternal-infant nutrition, which includes nutrition for preconception, pregnancy and postpartum, as well as while breastfeeding. As a lactation counselor, I work with new mothers to support all areas of their breastfeeding journey.

Whether you are trying to get pregnant, are in the midst of your pregnancy, or are in the first few years after giving birth, I would love to connect with you to hear your goals and the ways I can support your nutrition and health.

I look forward to coming alongside you in your journey!
