Give your child food choices that are simple and healthy. Let him choose what to eat for a snack or what to wear. Limit choices to two or three. Support your child's development with tips from www.cdc.gov/milestones or on CDC's Milestone Tracker app.

Developmental milestones are things most children can do by a certain age.

We'd love your feedback!

Fallon County is partnering with Catalyst for Change (Catalyst), an organization based in Big Timber, Montana, to better support the mental health needs of our schools and community. This effort uses a virtual-meets-local model to connect students and adults to high-quality care through a coordinated network of licensed professionals. This network includes mental health counselors, therapists, psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners who provide counseling, therapy, and medication management services.

The survey linked below is designed to gather community feedback on how mental health services are currently working in our area—and where gaps may still exist.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey online using the link below by February 24, 2026. Contact Fallon County CHW, Kass Maierhofer, at chw@falloncountymt.gov with any questions.

Milestones matter! How your child plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves offers important clues about his or her development. Check the milestones your child has reached by age 2. Keep track by downloading CDC's FREE Milestone Tracker app or online at www.cdc.gov/Milestones. At 2 years, your child is due for an autism screening, as recommended for all children by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Excessive screen time in youth is linked to poor sleep, weight gain, and mental health challenges. Reducing digital use frees up time for physical activity, improves rest, and limits unhealthy eating cues. Start building better habits today: https://bit.ly/3YDxU1e
