Sometimes when we experience amazing views, experiences, entertainers, family times, etc. we take them for granted. I remember on this boat taxi on the Rhine, saying, to be humorous, "Oh, there is another extraordinary castle.

Traveling and being in other countries with people who are of a different culture expands our lives in a way that it is too hard to explain. 'Looking forward to visiting this family in Germany again soon.

Julia was a foreign exchange student and we call her our German daughter. She arrived at our home two weeks before 9/11/2001. We connect whenever we can.

This picture was taken in Cologne, Germany, when we visited her and her family. We are so thankful for a life where we can travel.

Today, I received a special phone call from Bill Singer, right, formerly a Dodger's pitcher, shown in this picture along with Pat Whitten, left, Bill's catcher from Little League through high school.

Bill visited his long time friend, Pat, while attending his granddaughters college graduation.
We went to school together from 4th to 12th.
