Bittersweet moments💕✨

I originally created this account as an online portfolio for my artwork as a painter in 2013.
After figuring out I didn’t want to pursue college as a visual artist.

I then took on a new love {Baking and Pastry Art} …still wanted to use this page as a portfolio.

I’ve grown to be this Artist/Pastry Artist but never really wanted the content creator role that recently came about.
I still don’t 😭

As an introvert I never cared about growing my followers or expanding because being a creative person meant more to me than likes & views.
I did what I wanted for myself and each clients satisfaction.

I’d love to still post the wonderful cakes I’ve done in the past and work my way to this transformation.

With that being said I will no longer take on custom cake/cupcake orders.

Apart of this is due to health concerns.
Baking healthier and using less refined ingredients would help.

I’d love to be more mindful and explore being a vegan chef/pastry chef for myself first.

With a new menu and new recipes that needs to be developed & perfected. I need to take some time off.
But hopefully you’ll tune in and enjoy this journey with me🥰☺️

💕Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake🍰☺️

For: Mama Queen✨

⚠️Not your average Strawberry Cheesecake⚠️it’s a swirl of vanilla and strawberry cheesecake with a golden Oreo crust, iced with Italian meringue buttercream then coated with strawberry crunch.
Topped with Fresh strawberries and sprinkles of that same strawberry crunch.

Frozen and wrapped this cake, iced & finished it while vacationing in Deep Creek

Although these were from an order from last year, I’ve learned so much.

1- Here (This order) I realized I shouldn’t worked 2 jobs while juggling my own business.

2- Get proper sleep, always!

3- I should look into training someone else because I couldn’t do this alone (I did it but I shouldn’t have)

4- Always finish the day before delivery/pick up so I can get really good pictures🥺

5- Plan the order out and take progress photos

6- Practice makes progress.

I loved this them and order, my client was satisfied but as an artist I’m always my worst critique.
