I am pleased to announce our 2nd annual Face It Hydration Bright Futures Scholars!
Last year we extended one scholarship offer, this year, we had so many deserving students that we couldn’t pick just one!
We also needed your help, and with your donations, we were able to provide 3 additional scholarships!
Meet the 2025 recipients:
🧑💻J.P. – Engineering + Economics, Founder of WEngineer
From grocery budgeting to building a STEM nonprofit—meet J.P., a changemaker who’s turning scarcity into innovation.
A dual major in engineering and economics, J.P. is using his brilliance to expand access to STEM education, design sustainable solutions, and uplift underserved communities.
🧠 T.W. – Aspiring Industrial Engineer
T.W. dreams with one eye open—and both feet grounded in community.
Hailing from Baltimore, she is focused on solving real problems in education, transportation, and food access through engineering. Her mission? Use knowledge to rebuild systems and open doors for others.
T.T. – Future Forensic Scientist
Justice is personal for T.T., and she’s turning tragedy into purpose.
After losing loved ones to violence, she’s pursuing forensic science to help bring peace and accountability to her community. A voice for the voiceless and a force for change.
🧬 K.L. – Aspiring Physician-Scientist
Long bus rides. Late nights. Big dreams. K.L turned challenge into leadership.
With roots in Cameroon and Jamaica, she’s researching neurotoxicity, mentoring peers, and pursuing neuroscience to uplift marginalized communities through medicine and advocacy.
👣 R.H. – Future Podiatrist
“Why feet?” For R.H., it’s about restoring mobility, dignity, and health—especially in communities of color.
Driven by the disproportionate toll of diabetes in the Black community, she’s on a path to make podiatry more accessible and inclusive.
