Our goal is to promote awareness of mental health topics and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health within the Native American Community partnered with RUHS. (RSBCIHI) and is funded By: Riverside University Health System- Behavioral Health- Prevention & Early Intervention (RUHS). As Community Mental Health Promoters, our goal is to promote awareness of mental health topics and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health within the Native American Community. We strive to increase access needed to engage, encourage, and educate individuals on the recognition of early signs of mental illness. Our services include Prevention and Early Intervention Programs as well as presentations. Collaborating with community partners allows us to bring awareness to at risk youth and their families through education and culturally specific activities. Presentations offered currently include; Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Feelings & Emotions, Mental Health 101, Schizophrenia, Self Care, Self Esteem, Stress Management, and Su***de Prevention. If a new presentation surrounding mental health/wellness is desired, please contact us.
