Last fall, the Sprecher family reached out to ask if they could donate two benches to the funeral home in memory of their parents. I was truly honored that they thought of such a meaningful and thoughtful gesture.

This winter, the benches arrived, each with a personalized plaque. Seeing them in place brought back so many memories. Since I was in elementary school, the Sprecher family has been woven into different chapters of my life. To have them think of me and my funeral home in this way is deeply touching.

I am grateful to such a kind and loving family, not only for welcoming me as part of their extended family over the years, but also for supporting my passion for my small‑town, family‑owned business. Their generosity will live on in a place where many will find comfort, reflection, and connection.

To all members of the Sprecher family, near and far, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for this beautiful donation. Your thoughtfulness means more than I can express.

I hope the benches bring peace and a sense of community to all that visit.

AS OF MONDAY, MARCH 9, 2026 12:30PM - Services are CONFIRMED FOR JEANNE:

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Emanuel Church in Baraboo with Pastor Ron Bupp officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at church. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sauk County Historical Society, Good Samaritan/Mite Box at Emanuel Church, Baraboo, WI, Baraboo Circus World Museum, Baraboo, WI or a charity of your choice.
