Hey Friends and Family of Dad! Just so all of you know, Friday is the two year mark of when dad went to be with the Lord. If ANY of you would like to come by at any time then, or any time in the future, you do not need to ask me or my partner for permission to sit at his cross. Daddy was a friend to all and he’s watching all of us. If you would like to bring flowers or anything to put on or in front of his cross, feel more than welcome to. We will be having a celebration of life for my daddy Saturday September 19th. Starting at 11:00 am we will all gather to pay respect to him and at noon he will be buried under a cedar cross as he requested.
We are having a dinner immediately after of my daddy’s favorite meal which is chili. Along with that we will have sandwiches, chips and assorted cakes and cookies.
My dad would not want us to remember him with sadness but with fond memories of the fun life he lived. So in honor of him and in true “Big Jimmie” style we will celebrate his life for the remainder of the night. Everyone is welcome to bring tents and stay the night. I do not have seating so please bring your chairs if you want to. I hope to see everyone who loved my daddy on Saturday.
