For the electrical engineers and non-electrical professional engineers, there's an ethics presentation being provided by an LSU electrical engineering professor and an SU law professor. This may satisfy the 1 hour ethics requirement for this year for the professional engineers. It looks like you must pre-register in order to attend...
LSU electrical engineer Dr. Theda Daniels-Race dispels the myths of nanotechnology and shares how her lab investigates nanoscale phenomena in electronic materials. Her fundamental research can help with the development of next-generation electronic devices, sensors, and optical displays. She is joined by Dr. Paul Race, a law and medicine expert, who will present some of the legal and ethical challenges in developing nanotechnology.
Date: Tuesday, March 30, 2021
