Just a few pictures of the fun we have had lately. Savor the Summer was a fun day when the residents and guests got to taste delicious foods such as peach bruschetta, berry tarts, different gourmet pizzas, a pineapple/lime/vanilla refresher, and more! Another day, we were able to convince, our residents were very determined, our Executive Director, Marianne, to take a much-needed break from her office and join us for ice cream. We have also spent a lot of time outside enjoying our back courtyard. Summer has started off strong, and we're just getting started.

Today, the Nurse Honor Guard of Calhoun County came to honor our residents who formerly had careers in nursing. It was a beautiful event celebrating these ladies and their various roles in the healthcare industry. We are very thankful to have these wonderful women as part of our Brookdale community family.

Our residents had a great time yesterday at the Gilmore Car Museum. The weather was good, the lunch was delicious, and the cars were awesome! Some of them even went for a ride!
