Sylvia "Kay" Bondar (née Hudgins), born on January 9, 1941, in Houston, TX, was the younger daughter of Eugene Fields Hudgins and Lola Lee Hudgins (Miles). After graduating from Bellaire High School in Houston, Texas, where she was the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps’ (ROTC) elected representative, Kay attended Baylor University, where she met her future husband, William Bondar Jr. From this union, she welcomed her only child, Nancy Lee. While pregnant with Nancy, she completed her studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree while teaching art full-time at Mt. Clemens High School. She often joked that Nancy would have been born much earlier had her sculpture professor not carried her work in progress upstairs from the storage locker for each class.

Kari Lou Kosemba of Midland, MI peacefully passed away on Friday November 21, 2025 in the comfort of the Toni & Trish House. Kari was born on April 14,1975 and enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, rock music, any activity involving sunshine or water and going on adventures with her friends and family.

Kari is survived by her children, Son Austin (Michaela) Filcek and Daughter Nadia Kosemba, Grandsons Andrew and Arthur, Brother Brian Goss, Nephew Daniel Goss, Uncle Bruce (Kathy) Goss, Aunt Laurie King, Cousin Marc Rechsteiner, parents Karen and Marc Goss and many other relatives. She leaves her closest circle of loved ones Angie Wiedyk, Tara Anklam, Wayne O’Dell & Liz Musselman who loved, supported and cared for her during her best and most difficult times.

William “Bill” Crystal Beem, 67, of Flint passed away peacefully in the home of his son on Thursday, November 20th 2025 following a short battle with cancer. Bill was born on September 2, 1958 to the late John Sr. and Lucille (Bailey). He attended Yale high school and graduated with the class of 1976. He was a friend to many and loved cooking and volunteering in the community. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, traveling, sharing meals and in his later days, watching the boats go by in Port Huron under the Blue Water Bridge.

He is survived by his children Christopher (Annie Stewart), Ryan (Nadine), and Stacey (Carlyn Mayes), his grandchildren Abigale, McKenzie, Shayna, Jayce, and Kayson, his brothers John Jr. (Suzy) and Gary (Lori), and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John Sr. and Lucille, and his brother and sister-in-law Jeff and Pam (Paupard).

Pamela "Pam" Clark Cheney, beloved sister and mother, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper, with her family by her side. She was 68 years of age.

Born in Saginaw, Michigan, on August 25, 1957, Pamela was the daughter of John Clark and Shirley (Thomas) Clark.

Pam had a deep passion for fishing and boating, activities that brought her joy throughout her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Emily Cheney; her sisters, Lori Clark and Rosemary “Sissy” (Joe Pesce); and her brothers, William “Pete” (Andrea) Clark, Geoff Clark, and Nathan “Butch” (Christine) Clark.

Besides her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her brothers John “Mike” Clark, Anthony “Toma” Clark, and Larry Clark.

Carol Lynn Miller, age 68, of Clio Michigan, and formerly of Birch Run, Michigan, passed into the arms of the Lord at home on Sunday, November 16, 2025. She was born April 9,1957 to the late Rolan and Bernadette (Latham) Woodward.

Carol was a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher. She worked many years as a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, and then afterward when it became Covenant Hospital. She loved her patients and loved teaching and precepting new nurses. When she was not working, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, and cross stitching, however, her greatest joys in life were the memories she made with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Herbie passed away on November 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. After struggling with heath issues most of his life, his sons and sister continued Herbie’s generosity by sharing him with others through his organ donation to Gift of Life. His sons stated that Herbie was always a giving man and would agree with giving the gift of life to others. Herbie would be so pleased that his gifts were made available to two kidney recipients and a liver recipient. Herbie was and continues to be very proud of his sons.

Herbie was born on March 20, 1981, in Carson City Michigan to his happily married parents, Gary and Noreen Smith. In his free time, he spent hours drawing at his kitchen table, jamming to music, and always cheating at Yahtzee. Michael “Mike” Frederick Halstead, age 84, of Bay City, Michigan passed away on November 15, 2025, after a brief illness. A lifelong Bay City resident, Mike was born on July 26, 1941, to Glenn and Maxine (Mulligan) Halstead. His life was devoted to his family and service to his country and community.

A graduate of Bay City Central High School and Northwood Institute, Mike served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the building of the Berlin Wall. He returned to Bay City to marry his high school sweetheart, Ida Sermon, in December 1962. Through 63 years of marriage, they raised three children and welcomed 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren into the family.

Though he had a diverse professional career, his public service defined him. He was a member of the Bay City Fire Department for 32 years, as a firefighter and the Fire Marshall prior to retiring.
