I treat pregnant patients often. I know it helps them feel better. But I was shocked when I got to experience this first hand.

Having someone to look at how you’re moving and do the hands on work that you can’t do for yourself: it makes such a difference! I was able to stay so much more comfortable and active while pregnant with my second it was incredible.

Today I took a vacation day from my “day job” to support a momma with a scheduled c-section. As I sit here listening to the sounds of babies crying and conversations in the distance of blissful parents already enamored by their beautiful babies my heart is so full. I love being a doula. I love supporting and advocating for my clients. I love being a part of their labor and births, the good, the bad, the ugly. I love knowing that I can provide a comfort to a scared momma who doesn’t feel like she can go on or answer/interpret concerns and information for them. This isn’t a job to me, this is my passion. This is my calling. This is my happy place. 👶🏼🩷💙👶🏼

I love Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce because she is so open and honest about motherhood. Moms need to know its not always sunshine and roses and that is ok. It doesn’t make you a bad mom and you aren’t alone in the feelings you are having.
