Gage Matthew Gardner is the 4 year old and youngest of 3 sons of Joseph and Stephanie Gardner. This summer Gage was diagnosed with Leukemia. Thanks!

The summer of2016 Gage was diagnosed with Leukemia. After a 7 week long stay at Childrens Hospital and many very scary days and nights Gage is on the long journey to beat his illness. Gage is on a long path with many more treatments faced with ups and downs. The purpose of the effort is to raise funds to assist with the financial burden of receiving treatment for Gage's illness. With great shock and surprise, insurance only pays for a very small and minimal amount of these procedures. The hospital stay alone would put any family into financial ruin. Please feel free help, share, like and comment as any effort you do helps.

Time for another update! Previous post noted Gage's 5th birthday, well on May 30th, two days before his one year diagnosis he was finally riding his two wheeler again... he was up on the side walk and the cat ran out in front of him and in his attempt to miss the cat he crashed and fractured his leg. Yep full leg cast from thigh to toes. The count down is on.... 3 days and the cast comes off. Now back to riding bikes, swimming, and running without a cast!

May 11th Gage turned 5! During the last couple of months he has transitioned from weekly visits to the hospital for treatments to a daily chemo pill and a once a month spinal tap with a chemo infusion. This kid continues to smile thru it all. What courage!

Gage is being honored tonight by the wonderful people at the Omaha Mavericks hockey team. They gave him an awesome signed glove. Check out the facebook live video for the game opening ceremony. More live videos to come!
