Let’s talk busy. Not the kind of busy where someone just has a full calendar. I mean the kind of busy where life is genuinely full.

I run my own business, and I also work full-time for Trim Healthy Mama as the Director of Operations and Coaching. Wes and I have five children, and my parents live in our backyard, so we help them when they need us too.

It is a full life over here. Even with all of that, I still make time for my fueling, drinking my water, moving my body, and getting to bed at a decent time most nights 😉 I still make time for exercise and spending time with friends.

This is not because I have extra hours hiding somewhere in my day. It is because at some point I had to learn something important. If I do not decide what my non-negotiables are, life will decide them for me.

For me, taking care of my health had to become one of those non-negotiables. It meant learning how to build simple rhythms that work in real life. This is exactly what we practice inside Blooms, my group coaching community.

We talk about fueling.
We talk about movement.
We talk about mindset.
And we talk about the real-life stuff that makes women want to quit on themselves.

But we do not quit. We encourage each other and keep showing up. I am watching my ladies flourish in the middle of real life.

Blooms is currently open enrollment, so you can step in anytime.

And if you have been needing support, structure, and a place where someone is actually walking alongside you, there is room at the table for you. Comment BLOOMS and I will send you the details. 🌸

A little encouragement if you need it today: Strong marriages are usually built in those quiet intentional moments. A thoughtful text sent, an inviting smile, choosing connection even when you're tired, laughing together on a simple walk, or sitting by the water like this.

And let me just say this, if you’re making the effort, if you’re showing up, if you’re choosing connection in the middle of real life, you are winning.

I’m really grateful for this man and the life we’re building together.💕

Did you sign up for our Intimacy in Marriage Workshop? If you missed it, the replay is still available. Comment MARRIAGE and I’ll send you the details.

If you’ve ever wished you had a room like this around you, this is it, and I’d honestly love to see you there. I do have a 15% discount code that’s good through April 5, so if it’s been on your mind, now’s a good time to grab your seat.

I want to tell you about something that’s coming up this summer that I’m really excited about. The Trim Healthy Mama Conference is happening, and I’ll be speaking from the main stage and teaching three breakout sessions.

But let me tell you what makes this event special. It’s not just information, it’s the feeling of sitting in a room full of women who understand the journey. Women who are trying to take care of themselves while also loving their families well.

No pretending.
No perfection.
Just real women trying to live better.

Comment 15 and we will hook you up!! See y'all in Tennessee!!!

This was my beach snack situation, a Chomps meat stick and an Aldi Maxx bar (basically Aldi’s little RXBAR-style option), and it did the job just fine while we were out enjoying the day.🏖️

I love having simple things like this on hand for travel, beach days, baseball, or just anytime I need something easy and quick and it's time to fuel. Not every snack has to be fancy to work.

What’s the one snack you always seem to grab at Walmart or toss in your bag to fuel your afternoon?

I'll link my snacks in the comments below if you want to grab some for yourself!

I hear this from women all the time “Amy, I know what to do. I just can’t seem to stay consistent.”

Let me tell you something honestly, that doesn’t mean you’re lazy. Most women I coach are juggling work, kids, marriage, church, aging parents, and 5011 other responsibilities.

Trying to stay healthy in the middle of all that is hard. The problem usually isn’t that you don’t know what to do. The problem is you’re trying to do it alone. That’s exactly why I created Blooms group coaching.

Inside Blooms you get:

• weekly live coaching with me
• nightly accountability posts
• a Marco Polo group where you can ask questions anytime
• encouragement from women walking the same road

It’s honestly like having a coach in your pocket. If you want the details, comment BLOOMS and I’ll send them.

This right here is my go-to crossover breakfast, and since we've been talkin' about meals on repeat 👀peep this gorgeous plate🥒🍓 Enjoyed outside (one of my favorite places for breakfast) during spring break at our camp in Bay St. Louis.

Two fried eggs in a little sammich, freshies ALWAYS, berries, cukes, and mini peppers. I added TH Optimized Collagen to get me to Nerd Level 3 protein, and it keeps me full and energized for hours.

Tell me, what's your favorite plant to add to your plate?

One thing I see all the time is women feeling like they need a brand new recipe every night. It creates so much pressure, like dinner has to be creative or exciting to “count.”

But the kitchens that run the smoothest don’t work that way. They have a small rotation of meals that everyone likes and they repeat them. That’s exactly how my kitchen works too. I have meals I know how to fuel well, meals my family enjoys, and meals I can pull together without scrolling the internet for an hour.

When you stop reinventing dinner every night, your kitchen becomes a calmer place. And fueling well becomes sustainable.

🍽️What’s one meal you make on repeat in your house?

Afternoon walk check-in. ☀️👟 If the free week challenge got you started, let’s not lose that momentum. Because here’s the truth, it’s not about a perfect week. It’s about stacking days.Time + consistency = success. We’re sticking with movement all month long inside group coaching. I’ll be coaching my Blooms through how to create movement that fits your season with troubleshooting so you don’t get stuck.

We’re forming habits. Encouraging each other. Learning what actually works. Staying accountable. And yes, digging into our mindset so we don’t quit when it gets inconvenient. This is real life. If you want to be part of it, comment YES and I’ll send you the details. 💕 There is room at the table for you!!!

Hey y'all, Happy March! 💚 y’all know about this THM Dynamic Duo Greens sale, Right? It’s a good one. From Tuesday, March 10, 2026 through Tuesday, March 31, Dynamic Duo is on sale for $12.99 instead of $19.99. That’s a $7 savings!

This greens powder is a simple 50/50 blend of spirulina and moringa, two super nourishing greens that support your body in so many good ways. It’s budget friendly, THM-approved, and a really easy way to add extra goodness to your day.

I made the Bid Dween Smoothie for supper and it was so good. I swapped in cashew milk instead of oat milk and used Optimized Collagen instead of whey, and it turned out delicious.

I’ll share my affiliate link in the comments if you want to grab Dynamic Duo while it’s on sale. Thank you so much for blessing my family and supporting Southern & Healthy when you use my link. 💕

I’ll also drop the free recipe PDF and Serene & Pearl’s video in the comments so you can get some fun ideas for using it.

I would love to know, have you tried Dynamic Duo yet? 🦸‍♀️💥

Spring is just around the corner and I am excited! So I whipped up one of my favorite pretty little sippers, CA’s Way Monarch Tea.

This one starts with butterfly pea flower tea, which gives it a gorgeous blue color to start. Then when you add the lemon juice, it turns purple. It’s like a little kitchen magic trick and it makes hydration feel fancy.

Now listen, this is how I made it. If you want to swap sweeteners, change the extract, or stand on your head and sing a song while you make it, go for it. 😄 I used my favorite sipper in Trim Healthy Future (Bird of Paradise, page 57) to guesstimate the sweetener and extract amounts.

I’ll drop the recipe link in the comments so you can try it too.

Tell me, are you a plain water girl or do you love a fun sipper like this? 💧

I saw something the other day that made me smile because it lines up so much with what I teach my clients.

Grandma wasn’t magically better at cooking. She didn’t have more time and she certainly wasn’t more motivated than women are now. What she had was rhythm in her kitchen. Dinner didn’t feel dramatic because it wasn’t brand new every night. She knew what she kept in the pantry, she had meals she could make without overthinking it, and feeding her family was just part of the rhythm of the day.

Most women think they need more recipes, but what they really need is more rhythm. When your kitchen has a rhythm to it, nourishing your body becomes normal instead of overwhelming.

🤔Does your kitchen feel more like rhythm or chaos right now? I’d love to hear.
