Baytown Youth Fair and Livestock Association's mission is to provide facilities and opportunities for area youth to exhibit their work in agricultural and homemaking projects; to promote improvement of livestock in the community and in the adjoining territory; to promote understanding and a better knowledge of proper selection and care of livestock; to give youth an opportunity for training in leadership and sportsmanship; to provide additional facilities and opportunities for youth of the community and of the adjoining territory.

“Play Span” rather than lifespan! How long will we be able to play? Do the things we want? Be independant? Functional fitness trains the body the way we move in every day life. Reaching, sitting, standing, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, lowering, kneeling, getting up off the floor….all of these movements are necessary to maintain mobility as we age. Mobility equals independence!

Muscle weighs the same as fat, but takes up less space. Thus, 3 people can weigh the same, but look different. Members of Fit in 42 can take monthly Inbody composition analyses to track muscle gains and fat losses. We don't worry about total weight at all for this reason.
