We’ve all been told that eating unhealthy foods, such as sugary sweets or junk foods, can lead to tooth decay and dental issues over time. 🍩🍬🍕

Although this is true, did you know that keeping a healthy diet is only one part of keeping up good oral hygiene? Regular teeth cleanings are just as important as showering when it comes to taking care of your mouth.

We encourage all our patients to get regular teeth cleanings every six months.

It’s easy to downplay your tongue’s role because most people only pay attention to their teeth when it comes to oral health. However, your tongue is a muscular organ that deserves as much attention and care as the rest of your body. 😛

Your tongue, like your teeth and gums, can host a variety of bacteria if left uncleaned. It’s just as important to brush your tongue every day as it is to brush and floss your teeth!

So, every time you pick up your toothbrush, make sure to show your tongue some love. ♥

Happy mom!! - by Anonymous

My almost 2 year old went in for his first appointment and I’m so pleased that it went better than I expected! The team all were so so patient and extremely sweet to my little being he was a little nervous and cried a little bit. I know he will be more at ease on his next cleaning. I’m just so at ease that my 2 boys are in wonderful hands with these amazing people. They’re all meant for this field and for this age group.

Awesome service - by Alana C.

This was my child first visit at 2 years old. Every single staff member from the front office to the back rooms were extremely friendly and made sure to take care of us from the time we got there to the time we left. It was a very pleasant experience and this will for sure be my daughters home dentist office no matter what side of Houston I live in.

Don't forget to schedule your routine dental cleanings and examinations! 🦷

Preventative care is much less invasive and expensive than the dental work needed to repair oral health issues that can arise without regular cleanings.

Dr.Vega recommends coming in for an appointment at least once every six months. 📅
