Had a great appointment! Met Dr. Weaver & SURPRISE..he's the dad of the one kid's she goes to swim class with 😯 What a small world 😄🌎

He brought up possible scarring from all of the treatment she went through, but that's just a possibility..nothing's certain til he gets more information. So she has 2 UA's scheduled: one for the 15th & the other for the 29th.

We should get today's results Friday at the latest. Next "official" appointment is in 6 months.

We're getting ready to meet our Kidney Specialist: Dr. Weaver at Levine Children's. We're a bit nervous. She always has high protein in her urine & we're trying to figure out why. Hopefully we can finally get some answers.

We have to bring her first morning's UA & of course she's laughing hysterically since I have to pretty much squat down to "catch" it. She always freaking pees on me a bit 🤦‍♀️ (I wear gloves) & I'm pretty positive she does it on purpose 🤣

Payback: she gets to "supervise" it on the way there 😁

I know it's been a while since I've updated anything. I'll post something later today to let you guys know how her health is. A few new issues have popped up, but I know we can overcome anything.

My oldest Starlet was diagnosed with CD3+ CD56+ Rare Agressive Subtype LGL Leukemia at age 4.

On this day 8 years ago she recieved a Bone Marrow Transplant that subsequently saved her life.

Anyone interested in participating you can directly mail the handmade cards to my address. I'll then send them to my friend Kevin who works closely with charity (Stackup.org, Gamers Outreach, 1UponCancer, and will take care of shipping costs so nothing is out of pocket for me). His goal is to personally hand deliver any & all cards received to this adorable little guy once he gets a good size bundle or just get a nice stack and forward it to him.
