Win Over Depression

Win Over Depression The ‘Win Over Depression,’ community is dedicated to spreading awareness about mental illness health.

In 2011, Tamera started a blog to bring attention to mental illness anyone who suffers from depression or deals with a loved one who is depressed. This chronic disease should not be left untreated and a legitimate mental health diagnosis. There are millions of people who live with depression and lead productive lives. If you have an open mind you can be a blessing to someone who needs a listening ear, a shoulder to cry one, a confidant. It is hard accepting a diagnosis of depression due to the stigmas that exist in addition to the lack of treatment in certain ethnic groups. I am not ashamed of my diagnosis and I have opened up because I want to encourage others to seek treatment. Join me as I endeavor to overcome depression and show others how they can fight back too.
