We received word from Insurance that we were approved for the next year for transplant. This was a major step forward we had been praying for!

Monthly labs has been a routine since we started dialysis at home November of 2024. Not Beth's favorite thing to do, but we were happy to receive a second package today in the mail for monthly blood draws! This means transplant list blood draws which is a positive step forward! We were told that once Treg was on the list, we would have to add monthly labs for the Med center to our usual monthly draws for the dialysis center.

I am a husband, father of 3, new grandfather. My diagnosis of IGA nephropathy came years too late to save my kidneys after doctors missed signs of illness over the years. I have been thankful for the chance to hold our granddaughter and the joy of dancing with my wife at our youngest son's wedding after beginning dialysis. Our hope is in God's healing, and we know that He will provide the right thing at the right time.

After almost two years since being diagnosed with kidney failure due to an autoimmune disease that went undetected far too long, we are waiting for confirmation to being on the donor list! In the meantime, if anyone might consider being a live donor, or would spread the information for those considering becoming a live donor, here is the link for screening.
