according to the CDC, the ACAM2000 monkeypox vaccine is not recommended for people who have or have a history of eczema, or may have skin to skin contact with someone who has/had it. it can cause a serious condition called Eczema Vaccinatum which can be very dangerous. the JYNNEOS vaccine is considered safe for these populations.
this is especially important information for bodyworkers, tattoo artists, hair stylists, caretakers, and anyone else who works hands on with people.
