The Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center (BASC) provides high-quality healthcare services in a convenient and comfortable outpatient setting. The BASC has state-of-the-art surgical and robotic equipment and performs surgery in the specialties of Orthopedics, ENT, General surgery, Plastic surgery, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, and Ophthalmology. The BASC staff are highly trained to perform complex surgeries, including total joint and spine surgery.

👁️ Can optometrists perform surgery?

Optometrists are trained eye care professionals who diagnose and manage many eye conditions but they do not perform surgery.

Surgical procedures are handled by ophthalmologists, medical doctors who specialize in eye surgery. At Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center, we support outpatient eye procedures like:
