November Birthday Bash Fun! ✨

We had such a joyful afternoon celebrating all of our November birthdays! Residents enjoyed delicious cake, lots of laughter, and wonderful live entertainment by Joel Scigliano... always a crowd favorite. 💙

We had the happiest celebration on Tuesday for Mickey Mouse’s 97th birthday! Our residents donned their Mickey ears, enjoyed treats, and were serenaded with fantastic live entertainment from the always-wonderful Kellie Karl. 💙🎶

It was a day full of smiles, music, and a little Disney magic right here at Light of Hearts Villa. ✨

“Where there is love, there is God.” 💙 We celebrate fellowship in so many ways here at the Villa... a lovely ladies tea, a meaningful Men’s Group gathering, and a fun ceramic mug-painting activity.
A beautiful reminder that joy is found in community, creativity, and shared moments. ✨

Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day 🇺🇸

Today, we proudly celebrated our resident and team member veterans with a heartfelt pinning ceremony, beautifully sponsored by our friends at Harmony Hospice. The ceremony included a moving sing-a-long of “This Land Is Your Land,” a touching prayer, a symbolic Fallen Comrade table, and delicious cake and refreshments to honor those who have served.

We were especially honored that our very own Navy veteran, Chris Sanders, performed the pinning for:

What an incredible day! ✨

Yesterday’s Handbag Bingo Brunch was a total sell-out with over 200 guests filling our Activity Center for an afternoon of laughter, friendly competition, and gorgeous designer handbags… all while supporting a cause close to our hearts. 💙

Our amazing dietary team outdid themselves with a beautiful brunch spread, and our volunteers helped everything run flawlessly. A huge thank-you to our Title Sponsor, Pucel Enterprises, and to our generous anonymous friends who donated the stunning handbags that made the day so special.

Because of you, we raised over $25,000 to support the residents of Light of Hearts Villa through the Sister Helen T. Scasny, SC Benevolent Fund. 🙏🏻

Our residents had an absolute blast at today’s Halloween Carnival! The Life Enrichment team outdid themselves once again… with adorable themed games, festive decorations, and fun activities at every turn. Smiles, laughter, and plenty of candy filled the halls today! ✨

What an amazing night at Light of Hearts Villa! ✨🎃

Over 250 friends and neighbors joined us last night for our first-ever Trick-or-Treat at the Villa... and wow, what a turnout! Our residents are still beaming from all the joy, laughter, and adorable costumes that filled our halls.

A huge shoutout to our friends at BAYADA for sponsoring this special community event and to Weekley Twists for bringing so much fun with the balloon creations! 🎈

And of course, the biggest thanks to our incredible Dietary Team who went above and beyond - transforming the dining room into a beautifully spooky space with festive décor, delicious treats, caramel apples, root beer floats, and an unforgettable food display. 🍎👻

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a fun and heartwarming success - we can’t wait to do it again next year! 💙

🎃 One week from today! We’re thrilled to be hosting our very first Trick-or-Treat at the Villa on Tuesday, October 28 from 4–5:30 PM!

Bring your little ones for an afternoon of festive fun! Our residents will be ready at their decorated doorways to hand out candy, and everyone can enjoy:

🎈 A balloon twister & craft station
🥧 A delicious fall-themed food spread from our amazing dietary team
