Susan Fintrilis Speaks Up!

Susan Fintrilis, the mail room clerk at UM UCH, believes that every hospital team member can be a healing person, regardless of their role. She said it's amazing how powerful a friendly smile and encouraging word can be, and how that starts a chain reaction and makes the hospital a special place to work.

Last week, we proudly unveiled a mural of 30,000 glass pieces at the entrance to our Bel Air medical campus cafeteria, celebrating Harford County landmarks and more. Created over eight months in partnership with Art with a Heart, the project brought together about 200 team members, patients and families for glass painting, ceramic work and writing positive messages on rocks.

Creating the mural offered a special opportunity to connect, collaborate and contribute to neighborhood art that expresses our team spirit. Witnessing the finished piece was truly captivating and we appreciate everyone who played a part in making this possible.
