Earth Day Event at Terrace Grove Cemetery Old Historical Section

Are you looking for a way to participate in your community on Earth Day?

Terrace Grove Cemetery would like to invite you to our second annual volunteer clean-up of the Old Cemetery Section. Many of the people buried there have no extended relatives to care for their graves. This older section really needs some clean-up and Tender Loving Care which is why I’m reaching out to the community. In honor of Earth Day, let’s honor those who came before us: the movers and shakers of Belen that are responsible for the growth and formation of our Belen. Let’s show our appreciation, bring your family and friends. Let’s get down and dirty and have fun!

Bring your own gardening tools, we will provide trash bags, refreshments, and pizza.

The Belen VFW post and volunteers are to be commended for their annual Memorial Day weekend tradition of placing flags on veterans' graves in our community's cemeteries, showing respect and appreciation for their service.
