Jeff Walters
Jeff has worked with concrete for over 30 years and it's what he always plans to work with. He married Kelly and had three children and to put his two worlds together was a dream come true. It was always a priority to leave something for his girls and that's when he learned about the fire pits and how they were made. As a family/team effort he started the business Pillar of Fire Creations. Kelly Walters
Kelly started out as a deaf interpreter for elementary students and later moved on to work for the heart surgeons at Freeman Hospital. She has always been a caring person and loves to work with others, which makes her the perfect person to interact with you, the customer. Jamie Walters
As a graphic design student in a small town like Joplin, Missouri, it’s hard to imagine that you’ll find a successful job in this sort of field. Jamie didn’t know what direction she wanted to take her design, until she met Terry. He taught her about ecommerce and how successful it could be if you have the right product. With her dad’s idea of fire pits, she set sail with her family and Terry to create Pillar of Fire Creations. Rebekah Walters
Although she is the youngest in the family, Rebekah has had a big imput into the creation of the business. Not only will she be making the custom fire pits, she has done most of the photography and helped create the online store. She’s always had a talent at multi tasking and has always worked hard at everything she does, from her academics, to her art, and now to this business. Terry Cole
Terry has dedicated many years to studying merchandising, sales, and marketing, and it was his dream to have his own business. While starting his own ecommerce store he was looking for a graphic designer to help with the layout and creation. He thought of no better place than the local college and went to speak to the graphic design instructor about hiring one of his students. Terry asked him, “Who is your best student who would be willing to take on a challenge in building a store for ecommerce?” He pointed to Jamie, who just happened to be there working on a project. From there the two took off on this great adventure. When he’s not working, he spends his time with his wife and two daughters, Ann and Grace, whom they adopted from China when they were babies, and their cats Precious and Angel.
