April “Ape” Fleming is the creative force behind and our stylish neighbor right down the street here in 🤍

Ape’s shop is packed with fabulous finds — trendy women’s clothing, accessories, gifts, and her signature custom pieces. It’s one of those spots you walk into and instantly feel inspired (and leave with a bag full of new favorites).

She’s also a Blue Star mom and dedicated volunteer with The Barracks Project, serving our veterans and active-duty military with heart and purpose. Here’s a little peek into this weekend’s Women’s Retreat — and it’s already been nothing short of soul-filling. 🍂🤎

The weather has been perfect — crisp mornings, golden afternoons, and the kind of peaceful quiet that makes you slow down and truly breathe. Women have come from all over — Florida, Philadelphia, West Virginia, and beyond — gathering together in this sacred space to rest, reflect, and reconnect. 🌿

Vessel Collective was created as a space for women and moms across Greater Cincinnati to connect, create, and celebrate — and this retreat brings that vision to life in the most beautiful way. From laughter and tears to creativity and calm, every moment has been a reminder of what happens when women come together with open hearts. ✨

We’re so grateful for this weekend — and so excited to share that we’ve already booked our 2026 Women’s Retreat to return to this special place.

This week, I had the absolute joy of being a guest on with the incredible ! It was so special to sit down and talk about the heartbeat behind and — and the winding road that led me here 🫶🏻

We got real about motherhood, grief, being a parent to children on the spectrum, business, and all things women empowerment — and I left our conversation feeling so inspired (and reminded why I love what I do 💕).
