As an artist Karen often describes herself as a closet photographer. This meant she felt she wasn't really an artist. Now out of the closet, she is taking way too many photographs and feels like an artist each and every day! Her specialty is narrative photography, helping others tell their stories through an organic, personal and authentic eye. Her collage work currently journals her day to day. Many of her collages can be seen hanging around the Whatcom County area Her facilitated workshops assist others to utilize a process for successful collage making!
