Something big is happening! On April 28, we're joining the national movement for disability inclusion in sport.

Sport has the power to push us further and bring us closer — and on National Adaptive Sport Day, we celebrate exactly that.

Celebrate. Rally. Build.

Add your voice. Sign the pledge and stand with the adaptive sport community.

We wrapped the 2025/2026 Winter season this past weekend!

Day after day, this community kept showing up and making space on the mountain. What unfolded out there was steady, joyful, and driven by people who believe in access.

Winter might be behind us, but the momentum is not: stay tuned, Summer Athlete Registration will open on May 6th!

All smiles for the last day of the OAS winter season:

One more lap, one more laugh, one more moment that brought this whole community together.

What’s one memory you’re holding onto from this season?

Building belonging on snow for nearly 30 years.

The Gene Landsmann Gemütlichkeit Award honors someone who shapes the feeling of a place, not just the experience. It recognizes the warmth, friendliness, and shared joy that makes people feel like they belong.

For decades, Colleen Dougherty has built exactly that at Oregon Adaptive Sports and across Oregon’s ski community.

Not just access to sport, but a space where people arrive and feel it right away: this is for me, I’m part of this.

Keep an eye on your mailbox 👀

Our spring newsletter is starting to land, with stories that stretch from Mt. Bachelor to the Paralympic stage, and all the days in between.

This print newsletter is a reflection of what we build together, and where we’re headed next.

This season has asked a lot of our blue coat instructors, low snow, changing plans, constant pivots, and still, they show up ready to figure it out and make it good. What you don’t always see is everything behind those moments on snow, the adjustments, the problem-solving, the care, the quiet decisions that keep things moving forward.

Creativity, flexibility, strength, skill, it’s all there, every single day, and they’re still out there doing it.

If you’ve been out with us this winter, drop a note below, a thank you, a shoutout, a moment that stuck with you, let’s make sure they hear it 💙
