✨👁️ It’s a great day to practice optometry in North Carolina!

UNC Pembroke is gearing up for the opening of its brand-new School of Optometric Medicine, led by Dean Dr. Richard Castillo, OD, DO, with the vision and leadership of Chancellor Dr. Robin Gary Cummings, MD. 👓

The university plans to welcome its first class in Fall 2027, a milestone that will expand access to eye care and bring cutting-edge training and modernization to the profession—benefiting patients all across North Carolina.

Professional Eye Care proudly supports UNC Pembroke’s School of Optometric Medicine and thanks them for last night’s continuing education on giant cell arteritis and thyroid eye disease. 🙌
