One of my students has an amazing opportunity to be a part of the Democratic State Conference on August 24th! Aidan is a passionate Political Science major who was recently elected Precinct Delegate for precinct 6 in his home state of Michigan. This role requires him to be encouraging and educating local voters, participate in the Michigan State Conference, and see his precinct's resolution passed at the state level.

The opportunity to be on the floor of a historic state conference is a dream for any Political Science student!

Aidan is currently back at college in New Jersey for the sports pre-season. His coach is in support of this and has cleared Aidan for the weekend of August 24th. In order to offset the cost of the flights to and from NJ to Michigan, Aidan has set up a GoFundMe. Aidan has already secure a friend's guest room to stay in over the weekend.

This is a situation where, truly, every little bit counts. I think many of us still remember what it was like being a college student and being on a very limited budget. Here is a link to his GoFundMe:

This has been a busy year!

I completed six months of coursework through CTI Co-Active Coaching, totaling 104 hours, in preparation to get my full ACC coaching license in 2022! I am about to embark on the next step of that journey, six months of supervised coaching. To accomplish this, I have updated my entire website, and focused my work on Fulfillment and Inspiration coaching.

Career is a powerful source for fulfillment, but for most of us, it’s one of many sources in our lives. Outside of “work”, creativity, personal growth, philanthropy, and community engagement are impactful pursuits that align with our values and make us feel fulfilled. These sources of inspiration and fulfillment should be honored, without the guilt around where you’re spending time and resources, and set as priorities in order to have a more consistent inspired experience.

In a single statement:
I work with mid-senior level professionals to uncover and validate what inspires them so they can bring together the different pieces of their own life into a unique tapestry.

Atlas Readings, LLC is entering into a time of transition and restructuring. I am currently 1/2 way through a coaching certification through CTI and the ICF. I am taking a hiatus to review evaluate this business.

The perfect rainy day. We have another hurricane hitting the east coast today, so this is only going to get more intense. May even lose power.

I’ve been exploring my own opportunities moving forward (not unlike this weeks podcast episode). Days like today makes me feel like nature itself is wrapping me up in a warm blanket with a cup of tea, and helping me create the space to explore my feelings.
