Our co-founder Anna accidentally found out that her Oura Ring could see her Os. 👀

She synced her Lioness Smart Vi****or session timestamps with her Oura Ring data to see if she could spot any interesting changes.

It did.

At the exact time her Lioness was in use, her Oura Ring showed a spike in heart rate…and most interestingly, a huge drop in stress!📉

Looks like we’re taking our motto, “never measured, never improved,” to a whole new level.

Can you fake an O so well it looks real?
We ran the Lioness data. 📈
While “faking it” might copy the rhythm (1-2 squeezes per second), the squeezes stay uniform and weak- no natural variation, no deep rhythmic pulses.
A real O, though, is a symphony: stronger, deeper, and tapers organically as arousal peaks and fades. It’s really difficult to consciously reproduce that pattern, no matter how hard you try!
Sorry, method actors, the pelvic floor is a tough act to follow 😉

A lot has changed since the 1980’s...

...but knowledge about topics like sexual pleasure hasn’t advanced much since then. Know what the cl****is is? A lot of people do not know know what their entire cl****is looks like, even if they themselves have one! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

This lack of knowledge doesn't exist in a bubble. It affects our personal understanding of our own unique bodies and pleasure—which is as essential of a human need as eating, sleeping, and breathing.

Lioness started when Liz and Anna, and artist and an engineer, realized we could do better. People deserve more and better ways to learn about our own bodies and take control of our own sexual pleasure. Their first product, the Lioness Vi****or, does that by giving people unprecedented access to information about their own, individual bodies and pleasure that was available nowhere else.
