SWELL 2026 is coming soon! For all social workers, therapists, counselors who need CEs, I will be offering two sessions:

“Empowering the Healer as a Vital Agent in Social Justice Work”
&
“Multidimensional Self-Care Strategies for Ethical Practice.”

In “Empowering the Healer as a Vital Agent in Social Justice Work,” understand your unique power within systems of care and social change. Participants will clarify their role in justice-oriented practice, explore barriers like burnout and vicarious trauma, and identify practical steps for showing up as grounded, socially responsive healing agents in their communities.

In “Multidimensional Self-Care Strategies for Ethical Practice,” explore how your wellbeing as a practitioner shapes ethical decision-making, boundaries, and sustainable clinical work. Attendees will gain embodied tools—including breathwork and somatic awareness—to support a regulated, values-aligned practice.

This is how I’m getting through 2026. I’ve been walking every morning no matter what. No phone. No distractions. Just me, the pavement, the sun, clouds, trees, birds, occasional neighbors…connecting with Life. This is for my mental health more than anything else, but I know it’s helping me feel better on all levels.

Jessica Hagy with Your Calm Center, Jessica Hagy , will be having an inspiring conversation offering guidance, techniques, and insights from her experience as a holistic therapist, working with people who have experienced a life changing medical diagnosis.

Dr. Roopta Gupta with Lotus Oncology Hematology. She is a board-certified medical professional specializing in oncology and hematology. She will be discussing her approach to care as it is data-driven, and how she implements integrative oncology modalities that improve quality of life.
