🚨 Read this before you get on a GLP-1:
I lost 14lbs on a GLP-1…but I did it in a way to get long-term results and to ensure I wouldn’t be on this for the rest of my life…
My Path:
I didn’t just wake up and decide to start this journey. I had to get quiet, do the work, and build a plan that felt like a lifestyle—not a quick fix. 🕊️✨
Before I took the first step, I wanted to make sure I was honoring my body and my future self. For me, that meant three non-negotiables:
1️⃣ Medical Support: It started with real conversations. I sat down with a Nurse Practitioner at Midi Health to talk about my goals, ask questions, and make sure this was the right path for me.
2️⃣ Muscle Retention: I knew I couldn’t do this alone, so I leaned into my MindPump concierge for workouts and nutrition. I also have a trainer come to my house once a week and was very open with her about my goals. Together we dialed in my fitness and nutrition—focusing on fueling with protein and keeping my muscles strong—so that this journey is sustainable and supports my overall health, not just a number on the scale. 🏋️♀️🥩
3️⃣ Mindset & Research: I spent time educating myself with podcasts and reading about how to not lose muscle while on a GLP-1, how to focus on habits, how I felt, how my clothes fit, and not the scale. I defined my own “why”.
These before-and-afters are the results of investing in me. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and I’m finally feeling good about myself again!
