Pastor Perry had talked to his superintendent about my family joining his new conference schools. Salina offered me a job as well, but I chose to keep my family in the house where my boys have grown up. I also found a job where I could use my credentials and creativity with similar children that I worked with for over three decades. (Thank you to Pastor Perry and the Salina schools.)

God is good 🙏🏼

Leadership in a small group …

I always loved teaching grades 1-8, with the exception of Algebra. My boss that I have now, taught my Algebra class. One group that the school board never made me teacher over - was the age three and four year old program. I know I had the best grades back in my history of KAA. I wasn’t a daycare worker, but I’ve always been a fun teacher that focused on getting my students’ state test scores up. My students, even today, play games in my zoom room classroom and don’t even realize that they’re learning for the state standards while having fun and taking a final quiz.

The state representative and our state senator came in for a visit. They loved my Social Studies program. They also appreciated the fact that I kept up with the state accreditation.
