This year, the theme, “The Whole Picture: Leading a Better Life with MS,” takes a holistic approach to Multiple Sclerosis care — because living well with MS means looking beyond just physical health. The journey with MS is more than a diagnosis. It’s about addressing the whole person — your mind, body, relationships, and overall well-being.

This March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities is proud to celebrate Developmental Disabilities Month with the launch of We’re Here: Then, Now, Always campaign. The national campaign recognizes a simple truth: people with developmental disabilities have always been part of our communities — and always will be.

The campaign builds on last year’s successful We’re Here All Year initiative and expands the message by connecting past, present, and future. Through powerful storytelling and visuals, We’re Here: Then, Now, Always highlights how far the disability community has come and why continued advocacy efforts have strengthened the commitment to inclusion and community living.

Today is and this year’s theme is a call for people around the world to stand . Loneliness happens when people are not supported to build and maintain connections with other people. Sometimes, people with Down syndrome can be in the same room as others but still feel lonely.

The answer is real inclusion! It’s about having good friendships and relationships. It’s the feeling of being valued and knowing you belong. To stop loneliness, every person needs: real inclusion, welcoming spaces, and meaningful relationships.

She genuinely cares about each potential hire that walks through the door, ensuring every candidate feels valued and supported throughout the process. The National Coalition for LGBTQ Health announces that the theme for this year’s National LGBTQ Health Awareness Week is “Organize to OUTlast.”

We urge healthcare professionals, advocates, and community leaders to collaborate on building strategies, skills, resources, and support structures that continue to foster health equity amid divestment and fragmentation of the broader healthcare system. By organizing within and across communities to protect advances in LGBTQ health, we will outlast the attempts to erase our progress. Organize to OUTlast assures us that together, the LGBTQ community and LGBTQ health services will survive, thrive, and persevere through these challenging times and beyond.

This week is an opportunity to engage with organizations conducting crucial health equity work, to inform the public about the importance of LGBTQ+ health, and to unite providers, LGBTQ+ communities, and allies for the advancement of real solutions that remove barriers and improve health for us all.
