We're right in front of the 2022 Spiedie Fest & Balloon Rally weekend and we've been getting TONS of questions, so we wanted to take the time to answer some of the Frequently Asked Questions right here!
Just a reminder that the last day to purchase a ticket that includes a concert for $20 is THIS FRIDAY at Mirabito Convienence Stores and on Ticketmaster.
❓WHAT ARE THE FEST HOURS?
Friday- 3 pm 9 pm
Saturday- 10am – 8:30 pm
Sunday- 10 am – 8:30 pm
? IS THERE AN ATM ON SITE?
YES! It will be located near the permanent restrooms near the middle of the park.
❓WHAT TIME DO THE CONCERTS START?
Friday- Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line will start at 7pm!
Saturday- Lou Gramm of Foreigner will start at 7 pm! Opening acts will be , Allie Torto Music and David Robbins, Kipani and Junkyard Heights!
Sunday- Gary LeVox of Rascall Flatts will start at 7 pm! Opening acts will be Matthew Cornwell & L’Bonti, Tezza, and OsbornNash
❓WILL WE STILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE CONCERT WITHOUT A TICKET?
No, there will be a privacy wall around the concert area. To enter the concert area you must have concert ticket to enter the venue. The $10.00 daily admission does not get you inside the venue.
Just like any concert venue if kids are in strollers or carried in arms( young child, toddlers) they do not need a ticket. (Free entry)
Kids who are older will require a concert ticket to enter the concert area.
❓ARE THERE GOLD CIRCLE TICKETS THIS YEAR?
There will not be a gold circle this year in the concert area. Everyone has an opportunity to grab a front row spot!
❓WHAT SAFETY MEASURES ARE IN PLACE IF I GET SEPARATED FROM MY CHILD?
Safety Pad has locations just as you enter the festival. Parents can get their children registered and get them a wristband with the parents information detailed on them so they are able to be found easily if they are lost. There is also a central location in the middle of the park near the announcement tent.
❓CAN WE BRING ALCOHOL INTO THE PARK?
No, but this is available for purchase.
There will be a beer tent near the wrestling ring on Saturday & Sunday.
There will a beer tent in the center loop near Lupos’s to watch the balloons.
❓WILL THERE BE A BEER TENT IN THE CONCERT AREA?
YES! The beer tent will be located to the rear of the concert venue. You must stay within the concert venue if you are consuming.
❓CAN YOU BUY TICKETS THE DAY OF THE SHOW?
If you plan on buying a $10 daily admission ticket (Cash or credit only, no checks). YES, that’s the ONLY way to buy these tickets.
If you want to buy a concert ticket- STILL YES, however the price will go up to $40.00 if the charge is at the gates on the day of purchase. This is why we are encouraging everyone to buy your tickets for $20.00 at all area mirabito locations even on the day of the show!
❓DO YOU NEED TICKETS TO ATTEND THE MEET & GREETS (WRESTLING, PEPPA PIG, DIARY OF A WIMPY KID, MISS NEW YORK), PUPPY SHOW, AND BIRD SHOW?
For the FIRST TIME, all you need to access the Meet & Greets is the your daily admission ticket.
❓WHERE DO WE PARK?
You can park at SUNY Broome and take the shuttle over. Parking at SUNY Broome $10.00/ per vehicle. This includes your shuttle to the festival and back after the festival.
❓WILL THERE BE FIREWORKS?
No, there will not be fireworks.
❓WHEN WILL THE HOT AIR BALLOONS LAUNCH AND NIGHT GLOWS HAPPEN?
Friday – Launch at 6 pm, Night glow at 8:30 pm
Saturday – 6 am passenger arrival for approx launch times from 6:15-7am, 6 pm launch.
Sunday - 6 am passenger arrival for approx launch times from 6:15-7am, launch, 6 pm launch.
❓WHEN ARE THE TETHER RIDES? ARE THEY FREE?
Yes! Tether rides are free with your admission.
Saturday – 12 pm to 2 pm, 2 pm to 4 pm (different balloons)
Sunday - 12 pm to 2 pm, 2 pm to 4 pm (different balloons)
❓HOW MUCH IS A FULL HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE?

❓WHEN IS THE ANTIQUE, CLASSIC, COOL CAR & TRUCK SHOW?
Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm
❓WHERE DO WE PARK?
You can park at SUNY Broome and take the shuttle over. We will also have an UBER and LYFT drop off at the festival.
❓WHEN IS THE KELLY LABARRE 5k?
August 7th from 9:30 am to 12 pm. The entry fee without a shirt is $5
❓WHAT TIME IS THE SPIEDIE COOK-OFF?
Sunday, August 7th at 1 pm! This will be located in the main center field. The large yellow & white striped tent next to the pilots tent.
❓CAN WE BRING PETS?
No.
❓CAN WE USE DRONES?
No.
